Informative viewing on T.V. tonight!

Many girls these days are aware of the unfair situation some animals suffer in this country, but there are also heaps of girls (and adults!) who are unaware and who, I'm sure, would be shocked if they knew what really happens to some animals.

You might have heard some news stories or heard your friends talking about live animal export, or you might have heard about the many animal welfare organisations, including the RSPCA, that have been working together and giving petitions to the government to try and get them to take action on this issue.

Tonight you have a chance to get a more indepth view of the hot topic that is live animal export, and Australia's part in this horrendous trade, as the ABC airs its investigation in the Middle East into the treatment of Australian exported animals. Although some of the subject matter is distressing, and you might not want to watch the whole report, I think it can only be a good thing to find out more about what's going on in the world, and the part that our nation plays in it.
