From a poor, foster care, public school, tough ghetto living background, Tyler Gage is required to complete 200 hours of community service in a private School of the Arts after being caught for breaking, entering and trashing the school's theatre.
Through this experience, and meeting Nora, a particularly beautiful and talented ballerina, Tyler is challenged to "step up" and make something of his life. He realises that he has the opportunity to rise above his circumstances and acheive more than he had ever dreamed of.

i'm a fan of dancing movies, too. i love 'dirty dancing' and 'dirty dancing: havana nights'. they make it look so easy! whenever i watch them i feel like dancing too, so maybe they can also be used as subliminal motivation tools. hehe.

To maintain your friendship with your friend, you need to make sure you only treat her boyfriend as a friend. A general rule of friendship is that a friend's boyfriend is off limits. His smiling at you is fine...this could just be a friendly gesture but if he was to act inappropriately, then you need to tell him you're not into treating your friends like that. There'll be other guys out there for you!
