Drivin' Me Wild

I wasn't sure how I felt about Lily Allen doing a song with an American rapper, but now I've had a few listens to the finished product of Lily's collaboration with Common, "Drivin' Me Wild", I'm digging it. The song is full of funny (and some serious) pop culture references, and Lily contributes the chorus and other little 'la la' embellishments throughout the song, with her voice sounding just gorgeous.

Live Animal Export: Indefensible

You may have heard on the news in the past couple of weeks about a campaign to stop live export of animals to the Middle East. Hundreds of thousands of sheep and cattle are transported on ships from Australia to other countries, in horrific conditions. Many will die on the way. The animals have no room to move, they are not handled humanely, and they are frightened. Once they arrive at their destination, the animals are often bound together, and thrown into a car boot in regions where temperatures reach 50°C in summer.

Australia is the biggest exporter of live animals, which makes the situation even more shocking. To find out more and voice your concern, check out the Take Action section of the web site. We need to speak up for these animals, because they can't speak up for themselves!

The Vegetable Diaries

Not the most appetising site title from some people's perspective, but if you're wanting to improve your diet and general well being by eating more vegetables, this journal has some easy, yummy recipe ideas to help you do just that.
