Web Wanderings: The Veronicas, Tegan & Sara, Russh Magazine and bunnies!

Hook Me Up

The Veronica's new single, "Hook Me Up", sees them embracing a new poppier, electro sound. The result is a freakin' catchy tune that you'll be dancing around your room to in no time! The lyrics touch on subjects I'm sure every girl will be able to relate to, and is one of the reasons why we heart The Veronicas so much. The song's video clip (which you can view here) features the girls rocking out in a classroom, with Jess playing guitar and sporting newly blonde locks. Rad.

Back In Your Head

Everyone's favourite Canadian twins, Tegan and Sara, are back and sounding better than ever. Their new single "Back In Your Head" (watch the video clip here) sees the girls treading their trademark pop-with-unmistakable-vocals territory, complete with poppy keyboard accompaniment. They're touring the country in December, and are well worth catching live, so check their web site or your local street press for all the deets.

Russh Magazine

Russh has been one of my obsessions since discovering it about a year ago. It may even have surpassed my beloved Nylon to hold the coveted position of permanent residency on my bedside table… yup, it's that good! The current issue features stories on knitting fashionista Jenny Kee, quirky musician Bat For Lashes, signature scents, mix tapes for various occasions, and also one on the nasty side effects of too much sugar (this one was particularly hard for me to swallow, being a self-confessed sweet tooth). I also love their Golden Years pictorial; it contains Cyndi Lauper, Madonna and Transvision Vamp record covers, so what's not to love really?

The Brooklyn Bunny Cam

Brooklyn Bunny is all about one cute little bunny named Roebling, who lives in Brooklyn, New York and just happens to have his own little media empire! Well, kind of. Images of the adorable rabbit can be seen on the site from time to time, beamed live from his web cam… if he happens to be in front of it, depending on where his daily rabbit habits take him. His owners also serve up some bunny themed goodies for purchase on the site, such as badges and an apple scented room spray inspired by Roebling's love of fresh apple slices. Too cute!
